Australian Domestic Shipping (excluding MTO)

Orders are processed and shipped once full payment has been cleared. Whilst we endeavour to pack your order as quickly as possible (Usually within 2 business days) there may be delays to your order fulfilment.

For estimates on delivery times from Australia Post - Standard Post (5+ business days) Express Post (1-2 Business days within network). New Zealand (5 to 7 Business days). There can be delays due to a number of reasons beyond our control, including remote delivery locations, public holidays, and shipping busy periods eg. Christmas. If the item you are ordering is needed by a deadline, please Contact Us prior to placing the order, to confirm that we will be able to expedite your order in the timeline required

 

International Orders, Currency Conversions, Customs and Import Duty/Charges

1) The actual price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer's credit or debit card company.

2) Curious Empire does not convert the total price of orders into other currencies. We will bill your credit or debit card or PayPal account in Australian dollars and the card company or PayPal will convert the charges for you. If you have any questions about currency conversions please contact your bank or financial institution.

3) Customers outside Australia may also be liable for any customs and import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. These charges must be paid directly by the recipient of the parcel. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, we suggest that you check the requirements in your country before placing an order. We are not liable for any custom or import duties. 

4) Courier, logistic or parcel/post services may also charge a handling fee. This is a matter between you and the respective courier, exclusive of Curious Empire. All charged must be paid directly by the recipient. We are not liable for, and will not reimburse any of these charges and duties.

5) If you refuse to pay these fees outlined in (1, 2) you are also refusing your parcel. If you refuse your parcel, you may be contacted by the respective third-party informing you that your parcel will either:

5.1) Be destroyed. Curious Empire is not liable for any packages destroyed by a third-party courier service/department and your order will not be refunded.

5.2) Be re-shipped back to us. If we do have your parcel sent back to us, all shipping costs (along with any duties and taxes charged on that parcel) will be charged to your nominated account. Costs dependent on the weight of your parcel and applicable duties fees. We will provide full details outlining all applicable charges being billed to you upon receiving the parcel back at our warehouse.

 

Returns Policy (Domestic)

We are happy to extend a 30 day money back return policy on all our stocked products (excluding clearance and MTO - Made To Order items). If you are not totally satisfied with your item you need only to send them back to us for a full refund, exchange or credit. Buyer is responsible to pay all the postage charges to return item(s). All goods to be returned or exchanged must always be kept in the original packaging and in original condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you need to exchange an item, please complete Returns Form with your order number and details about the product you would like to exchange. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Made To Order

All made to order (MTO) including pre-order items are currently not stocked and are made on request taking 4-6 weeks## on average to complete plus shipping. Any made to order item will be shipped as soon as they are ready. International MTO orders are advised to refer to Australia Post current estimates for Standard Internal Parcel delivery times on top of the manufacturing time. International Standard Parcels (Standard Parcel)

Any order which includes a made to order item will be sent together as one shipment when that item/s has been made. 

Refunds will not be given for made to order items for change of mind or incorrect sizing. If unsure of sizing please contact us before making an order.

Cancelation 

Curious Empire can at its sole discretion cancel any order or engagement for goods and/or services at any time without notice.

Place an order (“order”) for goods and services offered for sale through the Website (“products”);

View and interact with any communications including but not limited to, content, advice, information, texts or other material provided by Curious Empire; and Otherwise communicate with Curious Empire,

Domestic: Refers to orders to Australia (AUD)

International: Refers to orders for locations other than Australia (INT)

Payments and pricing: All prices/payments are shown/charged in AUD (Australian Dollars)

Made To Order: (MTO) Refers to products that are made when ordered and are currently not in stock. Special conditions apply to orders that have MTO products.
